A coaching inn dating back to the 15th Century and offering oak beams, log fire and traditional hospitality. The town itself dates back to the 7th Century and much of town retains its medieval Tudor charm, narrow streets and half-timbered houses.
All the 20 bedrooms are comfortable and en suite with direct dial telephone, colour tv and hot beverage facilities. Excellent snacks and meals are available in the lounge bars and Table d'hote and a la carte menus are presented to diners in the Berrington Restaurant.
There is a car park for residents to the rear of the hotel.
