Ringlestone Inn & Farmhouse Hotel
Ringlestone Hamlet, Near Harrietsham, Maidstone, Kent, ME17 1NX.

|
Step back in time into this unspoilt, medieval lamplit tavern and farmhouse hotel. The hamlet is nestled off the beaten track in the North Downs, yet only 5 minutes drive from Leeds Castle and junction 8 of the M20 motorway. Built in 1533 the Ringlestone was originally a hospice for monks but became one of the early "Ale Houses" around 1615. Much of the Inn has changed very little since then with its original brick and flint walls and floors, oak beams, inglenooks and centuries old English furniture. The Ringlestone has been consistently listed in the AA, Egon Ronay and Which? Good Food Guides and offers a superb buffet lunch and extensive evening menus accompanied by a wonderful wine list. All the rooms are en suite and fitted with colour tv, CD player, radio/alarm, direct dial telephone, beverage facilities, hair dryer, trouser press and more.
