Part of this hotel dates back to 1796 and little has changed over the years - it was described by the Stamford Mercury paper in 1813 as being of modern design with two kitchens, eating and drawing rooms with nine bedrooms above. Now it has been transformed into a beautiful 20 room hotel offering modern comforts and traditional service.
Tastefully furnished bedrooms with private bathrooms, colour television, radio and direct dial telephone. Ask for details of our Four Poster bedroom. Family rooms are available as children are made especially welcome. The dining room is enjoyed by locals and passing travellers and has the emphasis on home cooking and value for money.
The bar and conservatory which is full of floral extravaganza both overlook the tranquil 1 acre rear garden.
