As an early Victorian Sea Captain's home, Llys Olwen was established in 1972 by the present owners Ann and David Middleton. Over the years it has been tastefully restored, featuring antiques sympathetic to the period and ambience of the house. The proprietors aim is to provide guests with the opportunity to unwind with a relaxing holiday. Situated within the protection of the Snowdonia National Park, the idyllic location of the Lleyn Peninsula with its hideaway beaches to explore, water sports, fishing, clay pigeon shooting, riding and walking nearby will suit the family, for the avid golfer reduced green fees can be arranged at Nefyn, Pwllheli and Porthmadog.
