Built around 1845 as the dower house for local landed gentry, becoming a rectory in 1890 the hotel is constructed of handsome Welsh stone and features an unusual chimney construction known as flying buttresses. In three acre gardens bordered by the river Dwyryd and surrounded by fields.
The house offers spacious and well-furnished accommodation with king size double beds and tvs. All rooms en suite. The budget annex, originally the stables, consists of double, twin or family rooms all en suite.
The location, in the Snowdonia National Park, is close to Portmeirion Italianate Village, beaches, Ffestiniog Railway, Castle, slate caverns, golf and excellent walking country.
